Saturday July 24th was the 2010 Yankee Homecoming Brewfest Fundraiser and I would like to take a moment to thank each and every attendee for "coming together" to make this event an absolute success!
A huge thanks goes out to Seaboard Product, Co., and all the amazing breweries for donating their time and product! Thank you also to Upper Crust Pizzeria, David’s Tavern and the Traveling Chef for preparing delicious cuisine, and to Ol’ Brown Shoe for providing us with an upbeat soundtrack for the entire evening!
Many thanks to the Newburyport Department of Public Works and the Essex Country Correctional Facility for their assistance with set-up and break-down as well as Lt. Siemasko and the Newburyport Police Department for the security detail. Thanks also to the Newburyport Redevelopment Authority and Coca-Cola.
To the many Yankee Homecoming volunteers who worked long hours leading up to and during this Brewfest, I can’t begin to ‘thank you’ enough. Without your hard work and dedication this ‘come-back’ event would not have happened! And finally, to the nearly 800 attendees, thank you for your support of the Brewfest and Yankee Homecoming!
I look forward to seeing you all next year for the 2011 Brewfest!

After a one-year hiatus the Yankee Homecoming Brew Festival is back!
This year, the event will take place from 4:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday July 24th and will serve as the final fundraising event for 2010: ALL proceeds will go back to Yankee Homecoming!
BrewFest will take place rain or shine, under a gigantic tent, on the waterfront and adjacent to the boardwalk. More than 30 of the finest Craft Brews will be on site for you to sample from with live music from local favorite, Ol Brown Shoe!

- Each ticket includes a souvenir tasting glass, twelve 4-oz. beer samples of your choice from those available, and a chance to win great door prizes
