Saturday, May 22nd was this year’s Evening of Wine Tasting and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the local businesses and individuals and our many guests for your generous support!

In addition to our continued partnership with Leary’s Fine Wines & Spirits, we welcomed Ipswich Ale and Mercury Brewing Company to this year’s event; a special thank you to them and to those whose donations filled the tables with wonderful auction items.

Enormous gratitude to the restaurants and caterers whose delicious hors d’oeuvres complemented the tastings, to Cabot Vermont for being with us again this year, to Scott Ouellette for your beautiful music and to Alan Bull and the photographers for sharing their talent and creativity with us.

To Esther Sayer and James Waldron, thank you so much for being such gracious co-hosts and enthusiastic co-auctioneers. To the online, radio and print media and everyone who helped spread the word about this fund raiser; my sincere appreciation.

A heartfelt thank you to the committee members for your hours spent and tireless dedication to making the event a success. This year more than ever, you really came together in the spirit of Yankee Homecoming.

And finally, to our guests; Yankee Homecoming is in its 53rd year. It would not be possible without you, the community. Olde Fashioned Sunday, Family Day at Maudslay, the waterfront concerts, the awesome fireworks show, our grand-finale parade and all of Yankee Homecoming continues in its time-honored tradition because of you.
