This year's Olde Fashioned Sunday promises to be a lively day packed with music, entertaining events, period costumes, dunk tank, children’s entertainers, and much more! A variety of food vendors will be on the Bartlet Mall to satisfy everyone's tastes. Please stop by the Yankee Homecoming Food Booth and give us your support by enjoying a hot dog.

Blessing of the Sacred Circle

Everyone is asked to stand. Men are asked to remove their hats, unless there is an eagle feather in it. |

All Native Americans enter the Sacred Circle with the accompaniment of the Host Drum, Special Dignitaries and Honored Persons, following the Head Veteran and Honor Guard. |

There will then be a flag song, which is equivalent in Respect and Honor to the National Anthem. |
| |
The Victory Dance follows, which all Veterans, including any Veteran who is not a Native American, is invited to join in. |
| |
Intertribal Dancing will then be performed. The general public is welcomed and encouraged to join in. If you watch the Native footwork, it is really easy to catch on. |

Grandmother Nancy will perform storytelling. This is especially enjoyed by the children |

Richard Owl Beaver will go onstage to bless Kathleen Bailey, the Homecoming Event Committee, and all people present. |

Fancy Shawl Dance exhibition will be performed by 11-year-old Angelina Clear Waters. This will be particularly enjoyed by children as well as adults. |
